1 C Bourbon Barrel Foods Sweet
Sorghum (can substitute
Blueberry or Bourbon Vanilla
Sorghum)
1/3 C Butter
1/2 tsp Salt
2 C bread Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 Egg(s), well beaten
1/2 C Buttermilk |
Stir butter and sorghum over low heat and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and beat in soda. Add egg, milk and dry ingredient sifted together. Beat well and bake about three minutes on a hot iron.
